White granular crystals,soluble in water,but non-soluble in alcohol;PH value of 1% solution is at 8.0;gradually losing ammonium in air and becoming into monoammonium phosphate.

Used as fire-preventing agent for fabric ,timber,and paper;also as additive for fire-preventing coating; used in electroplating,and pharmacy;as fermentater and nourishment in foodstuff industry,etc.
